FUJIFILM Dimatix Forges Alliance with Vermont Tech's Employer Partner Program

Randolph Center, VT (10/22/2019) — FUJIFILM Dimatix Inc. and Vermont Tech arepleased to announce they have forged an alliance by the company becoming a Silver-Level Partner in Vermont Tech's Employer Partner Program. This program leverages support from Vermont employers to recruit and engage future and current students in order to help grow and expand the state's workforce. Dimatix and Vermont Tech recently held a ceremony to mark the launch of the partnership during which Karen Hebert, VP of HR at Dimatix, and Chris Hamilton, Training/Employee Communication Specialist at Dimatix, presented Patricia Moulton, Vermont Tech President, with a $2,500 check.

Businesses and organizations participating in the Employer Partner Program play a key role during every step of the process by providing career guidance, meaningful workplace experience and the opportunity to start working immediately following program completion. According to President Moulton, "These types of employer partnerships are life changing for our students. The scholarship dollars can mean the difference between continuing their education or not. The paid summer internships enable students to get more context of what they are learning in class and labs. Faculty tell me the interns come back the next academic year changed people with more maturity and eagerness to learn. Employers benefit by investing in their talent pipeline. It is a win-win all around."

The relationship between Dimatix and Vermont Tech began when the college started providing leadership training services for Dimatix employees. Chris Hamilton says, "This partnership will serve as a launching pad for cooperation between local businesses and the future workforce of Vermont and New Hampshire. We are so proud to be a part of such a wonderful and innovative program."
